Randy Houser Absence From Rock The Fall Appearance Is Corrected

houserThe Morning Call reported on September 22nd that the Rock The Fall Festival at Blue Mountain Ski Area near Palmerton has lost its’ headliner and closing act that was scheduled in about a week.

Country music singer Randy Houser canceled his appearance on October 11th, because he was sick with a “really bad” throat infection, as told to the MC by a spokeswoman.

Houser wrote on his Twitter account September 22nd, that he was “Not feeling well. Just barely got through a show in Jonesboro Arkansas. Sorry guys and gals.”

Randy Houser’s own Twitter posts that followed and uncanceled appearances made the report from the original spokeswoman a bit suspect and gave the appearance that Randy Houser wasn’t being truthful. That has now been corrected.

Randy Houser will be appearing at Rock The Fall. He will be the 4th act on the night of October 11th, a spokeswoman at the Festival reported to me, only moments ago. For fans who may have sold off previously purchased tickets, we hope they don’t become ill from having jumped the gun upon hearing the news of his failure to appear.
